Tropical Living

Ebullient and color-saturated, Carmel Brantley’s photographs capture the essence of tropical style, showcasing vibrant interiors, lush landscapes, and lively rooms that embody the spirit of coastal living

The best tropical design is inspired by its natural surroundings—the foliage, the flora, and the palette, ranging from the hottest hues to the palest pastels. On every page of this exuberant book, photographer Carmel Brantley showcases the ingenuity, whimsicality, and often sublimity that designers bring to entry spaces, public spaces, private spaces, and outdoor spaces in tropical climes.

With a foreword by Aerin Lauder and featuring rooms by notable designers such as Meg Braff, Alessandra Branca, Kemble Interiors, Amanda Lindroth, Miles Redd and David Kaihoi, and Mark D. Sikes, as well as gardens by landscape architects like Fernando Wong and Mario Nievera, the book celebrates the joy of giving your home a tropical vibe—wherever you live.
