Phish, The Story of the Ghost

     Phish is a jam band who has been around for over 20 years and is just as famous for their live shows as they are their studio albums. The story of the ghost was released in 1998 and features cover art by one of my favorite artists, George Condo. You may recognize his work from Kanye West's, "Dark Twisted Fantasy." All of his artwork is amazing and this is my favorite album cover that he has done. I’ve embroidered the whole piece using wool thread in multiple colors carefully tracing each curve and angle. I finished the piece by creating a patch with the title and band name and mounted it over the album.
