     A classic Bob Marley and the Wailers album that features a stylized illustration of him over a burlap background with the iconic red, gold and green lettering. I wanted this album to have depth and texture so I decided to use real burlap as a background and stitch Bob Marley on top of that. Once the burlap was appliquéd to the album I used three different satin appliqués for the figure and then sticker about 20 colors of rayon thread on top of the appliqué to give the form its detail. The lettering was stitched last, directly through the burlap.
